AFTERMATH OF THE BIG STORMS = January 4 and 5 , 2008
Heavy Rain, Strong wind storms, snow in West Coast States  ( California, Nevada, Oregon, Arizona, Washington, Utah )

Rain causes flooding,  strong winds blew up roofs of houses and  trucks turn over on the road, trees falls on top of houses and cars, Snow causes slip & slides & accidents
It shuts downs business, schools closed. Electricity went off for hours.
Strong winds of 85 mph causes lots of damages to home properties

In Fernley, Nevada  rainfall ruptured a canal levee, pouring 3 feet of near-freezing water into hundreds of homes, stranding 3,500 people

yan ang ayaw ni dad sa U.S...
we'd rather stay in this cold weather here in Canada than suffer in storms in U.S..

it's your personal choice where to live..........BUT....kahit saan ka matira, the weather is always a factor.  In USA, the weather are different from different states........you can not avoid storms or snows.........the storms comes and go once a year.....

It just like living in Canada....you are stuck to Cold Snowy Weather.

I prefer the rain from snow........ Cheesy

And also.......sanayan lang ang pagtira sa mga countries with different extreme weathers........sanay na kami sa California weather..... W

meron counterpart ang anaheim dito sa hangin.........sa South San Francisco City near the Intl. Airport ---- is called WINDY CITY.......it is so windy ALL YEAR ROUND  in this city.

This is NOT SAN FRANCISCO City.......this is another city with a similar name but with the word South before SF.....named South San Francisco City.  I hope I did not confuse you..... Grin

Medyo na confused ng konti  Grin , kagagaling ko lang ng San Francisco lang Christmas and and sarap ng climate nyo pero nanigas ako sa lamig nung umakyat kami ng Twin Peaks ng gabi !!! Hehehe pero ganda ng view from the top !!!

Parang napuntahan ko na dati yung South Sanfrancisco and mahangin nga !!

It is always foggy and cold in san francisco city....all year round....you need to carry a jacket specially in the evening....that is a fact  Cheesy  The city has lots of attractions to see and visit.

If you are in Frisco......you will pass by this cities to get to the international airport.......

1. San Francisco City --- the foggy city. Also called  "FRISCO "
2. Daly City --- Little Manila - where majority of pilipinos live
3. Brisbane City
4. South San Francisco City  --- the windy city
5. San Bruno City ----- where the international airport is located
6. Millbrae
7. San Mateo
8. Foster City
etc.etc..........more cities after foster city
