Radial Blur Effect Tutorial

Title: Radial Blur Effect Tutorial
Description: Follow this step-by-step tutorial and you will learn how to use the command of Radial Blur in the Filter menu.
Difficulty: Very Easy
Required Program/s: Adobe Photoshop 7, Adobe Photoshop CS2 or CS3


Instructions:


1. Open your version of Adobe Photoshop.

2. Open an image. I used this image of Chris Brown as a sample.

3. In the layers palette, double-click the lock button to unlock the layer and press OK.

4. Select the Lasso Tool from the tools palette and choose the "magnetic lasso tool" to help you highlight the outline of the character. And zooming it can help you to get better results for the blur later on.

5. Now let's outline the character. This is what I came up with. Don't worry if the highlight of your character isn't that good. You're going to blur it later anyways.

6. Now, on the keyboard, press Ctrl + Shift + I to select the inverse of what you have already selected.

7. Now go to Filter menu, Blur >>> Radial Blur.

8. Here comes the main part of the tutorial. We choose how the blur is going to end up.

* Make sure that the Blur Method is in Zoom and the quality to Best.
* You can experiment on the amount of the blur, I just chose 50 because its not that blurry.

9. Now press Ctrl + D on the keyboard to Deselect. Here's the result:

Extra Method: If you think your render of the object wasn't good, just select the Layer menu and click the Duplicate Layer. This will create another layer which will cover more of the render, which means better quality and to create an opacity so the object is blended into the background. If one duplicate isnt enough, just do this same extra method until you see what looks best.

na-try ko na and nakuha ko naman pero may question lang ulit ako ... Possible ba na gawin to kung meron dalawang object sa isang picture pero magkahiwalay sila paano mo crop yung 2 object ng sabay ?

di ko ata gets ah..
ibig mong sabihin, maglalagay ka ng isa pang object dun sa isang picture tapos saka mo i-b-blur??
kung ganun nga, it is possible, basta ba tama yung size nung object kung pareho sila ng first object..

parang tulad nung ginawa ko sa tutorial na toh, pero dadagdagan ko pa ng isang "Chris Brown" tapos saka ko i-b-blur..?

Eto kunwari isang picture pero may dalawang object --> A & B gusto ko gawin yung parang ginawa mo kay chris .. Pede ba yun ? Paano ko gagamitin yung magnetic lasso sa dalawang object ? Sinubukan ko pag katapos ko sa isang object na gamitin yung magnetic lasso nawawala yung ginawa ko dun sa isa.. Gets mo?

ahhhh gets ko na..
try either "shift" or "control"..
either way, both of 'em should work..
basta gawin mo yun after mo ma-pick yung one object..

hint: pag letter ang gamit mo para i-pick pag ginagamit mo lasso tool, mas mabilis ang "magic wand" kc i-pi-pick niya yung  buong object, depends kung konti lng detail nung object, like letters, numbers, or special characters.. pero kung tao or anime siya, mahirap yun so magnetic lasso tool ang bagay dun..
