May I suggest to you the ff:
1. Go to the library and borrow ---  The Globetrekkers travel dvd, Rick Steeves travel in  Europe dvd.......go to the travel section, there are plenty of Germany tour DVD's.
2. Go to Globetrekkers website or Germany's website........they have a tourist section there.
3. Go to internet Maps of the world....look for germany....and check out all the cities and towns within Germany or buy a german map in any store.
4. Buy a german dictionary ( german-english) for you to read & study

I have never been in Europe but I have some German friends at work....they say Germany is a beautiful country but cost of living is too high and the pay is low.  Good luck on your search in the net.....
