Once there was a girl, her name was Sherry. She had been going out with this boy Jayson for quite some time now. He was everyone,s high school lover, and everyone,s heart breaker. One day this boy, Jerry went to visit his friend jay at school, while he was standing at the flag pole he watched this girl, she was pretty and the minute he saw her, a thought went into his head, it said I have to meet this girl. He stared at this girl with this look of amazement on his face. Jay saw Jerry in his daze and asked if everything was alright. Later on at Jays house he told Jerry to hang on so he could call his friend, Jay had to go do something for his dad so he gave the phone to Jerry, he handed the phone off and Jerry picked up and said “Hey this is Jerry, who is this?” the girl replied “I,m Sherry.” From that day on Sherry and Jerry had conversations on the phone, Jerry was 2 years older then Sherry and lived in another town, they had never seen each other, or so they thought, but really Sherry was the girl that Jerry had admired while he stood at the flag pole. Jerry and Sherry started talking everyday and got to the point where they told each other everything, they became the best of friends and they still didn,t think they had seen each other ever before. One day Sherry called Jerry crying because she and her boyfriend Jayson broke up, one of the things that Sherry loved about Jerry is that she could tell him anything and he would comfort her. They talked and talked and they soon fell in love, but they both were in denial. One day Jerry visited Jay at school again, he stood at the same flag pole and through the crowds of people he saw the girl he had seen that one day, but he couldn,t believe that as she was walking someone called out and said “Hey Sherry, what,s up?!” He thought, could it be? Was this the girl that I had been talking on the phone with for the past few months? As she was walking he came up behind her and tapped her on the shoulder and quickly turned around pretending it wasn,t him, she got confused by this, and thought that it was very rude. Later on the phone he told Sherry he saw her that day and she said “That was you!” and they laughed about it. Once summer came Sherry and Jerry finally got to meet each other, they knew that it was love at first sight, she watched him on the computer as he had watched her that one day. She knew she liked him; the first person she told was her best friend, who also knew Jerry. Jerry had told Jay that he liked Sherry; Jay thought that it was cool. They started hanging out more and more then finally they told each other how they felt. They started going out and they were in true love, they never fought and always told each other how much they loved each other, then Jerry went away to college, they saw each other less and less and started fighting more and more, but Jerry would always say to Sherry “I know we are fighting now, but through it all I love you, you are the one for me, my only one.” Then as the months passes he started emotionally hurting her daily, and he never told her he loved her anymore, he would always hang up on her and the old Jerry was gone, Sherry had started to not see him and he started hanging out with his friends a lot more than her, he started drinking, which he promised he wouldn,t and would swear at her. Through all of this she wouldn,t let him go thought because just the thought of knowing that she was his and he was hers gave her the littlest bit of hope, and happiness. One day when Jerry came to pick up Sherry from school they were walking to the car, the entire sudden Jerry heard this bang, he turned around and said to Sherry “Ey, did you hear….NOOOOOOO!” Sherry had been shot on her right side and was lying on the ground with blood spilling out from her. Jerry held her in his arms and she said “Jerry if I didn,t do anything, I mean anything to mess things up, I,m sorry, I love you.” Jerry replied “You didn,t do anything, I love you and you know it, I,m sorry for everything babe! You will be fine doing even say that; you,re not going to die!” Tears were pouring out of Jerry,s eyes, he knew what he had done to her, he knew he let her down, he told her “I love you and you are not going to die, we are meant to be together, and we will, you are the one, remember babe! We are supposed to get married!” Sherry,s eyes began to shut and with her last breath she said “I love you Jerry” and passed away, right there in his arms, as the ambulance came and put a white sheet over her and drove away he started screaming “NOOOOOOOO, SHERRY I LOVE YOU! WE WILL BE TOGETHER, I,LL COME AND FIND YOU!” From that day forward Jerry lived a lonely life and never got married, he knew for a fact that Sherry was the one for him; he knew that god knew that they were supposed to be together, Sherry knew it too. So don,t take advantage of life, because you never know how long it lasts. .......
