miracles...
Brian is a fine looking 8 year old boy who grew up under the care of his grandparents. His mom died while giving birth and his dad left him when he was still a baby. He never heard from him since then. Inspite all of these, Brian grew up to be a very happy child and with a lot of love to give. It was a sunny afternoon and Brian is on his way to the park to catch ball with his friends. The Park is facing the church and on its left, is an intersection and to the right is a river where Brian loved to hang out as a child. His friends came and the game started. Brian threw the ball and it headed through the intersection and he came running towards it. Little did he know that a car was headed towards that same direction and nearly hit him. Luckily, the driver must have noticed him and quickly avoided the running boy. Brian went on playing as if nothing happened. After the game, he and his friends went back to their separate homes and prepared for school the next day. At school Brian was a very smart kid, he's the class president, an honor student and an active member of a religious org. Indeed he was raised well by his grandparents and it always made them proud. From elementary up to highschool he remained consistent with his academic grades and still became an active member of his religious org and not to mention a certified hearthrob in the campus. Inspite all these, Brian remained humble and giving to others. Unfortunately, he never had time to mingle with the opposite s*x. Girls have no room for Brian but it doesn't mean that he doesn't respect them. He do, He actually do. It's just not his thing, not that he is gay, he is just very reserved. Brian finished his senior year with flying colors. He graduated as a valedictorian and was granted a scholarship program for his college education. Everything went on well for Brian. Everybody loves him, he's smart, humble and nice. Physically he's such a good looking guy with that charming and confident smile, tall and a nice built. Everything a man could wish for is in him. He's totally perfect, a jack of all trades. Guys his age even wanted to be in his shoe. But what they don't know is Brian do lack something, he always dreamed of having a life with his parents. He longed for their loving touch and how he wanted them to be proud of him for all his achievements. But despite all these he never questioned God why he never met his parents. He still hopes that God will give him the right time for that to happen. He always believed in God and he's really thankful that even with his parents gone, God still gave him his grandparents who raised him well and delivered him to where he is right now. Today, Brian is on his way to the hospital. His a medicine student now, he's 22 years old. Nothing changed, his still that same good looking man, he's just taller now, with a toned body and still wears that charming and confident smile. This day was just same as the other days for Brian, what he didn't know is that today, he'll meet someone who'll totally change his life forever. It was a girl, and she is blind. Her name is Pam, she's blind since she was 6 years old. She nearly lost her life back then. Luckily she recovered from that very tragic moment that changed her life. Her parents died that day. She always wished that she also died with them. Because surviving that accident never really saved her life, it even gave her deeper wounds that kills her brutally everyday. Their relatives who adopted her treat her cruelly. She washes their clothes, they call her names that are unpleasant, she cooks for them and treated them as a family, they cursed Pam for she is blind. They never gave Pam the chance to be part of their family. But then, she was sent to school and there is where she comfort from her friends. Still people at school are still cruel. There are those who would tease her and call her names because she's blind. Pam was really in the shadows and she blames the one who is responsible for that accident. It happened one sunny day. She and her parents went to church. After hearing mass, they went on to go to the hospital for her mom's check-up. Pam is going to have a little brother or sister. They don't know yet, today they're going to know. They were so excited, her mom is hugging her, her dad looked at them from the rearview mirror and smiled peacefully at them. When he got back on the road, he saw a young boy running towards a ball and he automatically steered away from that direction, and then gone. In that very moment Pam's parents died together with her little sibling. Pam will never forget that day. All her life she blamed that boy and God. Since then she never believed that God really existed. Because if he does, her family should have survived that accident. Today she is 20 years old, she's a scholar in a special school and now on her senior year. She is about to go to the hospital for a check up. She believes that this day will be just like any ordinary day. Little did she know that today, she'll meet someone who'll answer all of her lifetime questions. Brian asked her name. She didn't reply. He made her feel better and comfortable with him. He told him stories from his childhood, she laughs. And then she began to be at ease with him and told him her stories. They became friends and later on fell in love with each other. He was just to good to her, and she changed since she met him. She began to live and finally, she learned to smile again. Pam told him that she was blinded since she was young. An accident took away her eyes and her loved ones. She told him that she blamed the one responsible for that accident. The boy who run towards the street with a ball, but she never knew him. . All she knows is that he was saved by her father and sacrificing their own. It was a tragic story, Brian was so sorry for her, he then told her about his childhood where he was on a park with his friends. He threw a ball and it went across the street. A car was supposed to hit him but the driver steered it away to avoid him. He was so thankful that day. What he didn't know is on that day, a family died just to save him. ...... to be continued.... |
