Eight serious Swine Flu cases in Spain
A total of 876 people have tested positive for the A(H1N1) virus
There are now at least eight people currently in a serious condition in Spain because of the A(H1N1) virus, with the latest data from the Ministry for Health and the regions showing a total of 876 cases. The latest serious case is a 74 year old woman who has been admitted to intensive care in the Universitario Central Hospital in Asturias and who is on assisted breathing. An 8 year old boy remains in a serious condition in Madrid, and two serious cases are reported from Cataluña, a 52 year old woman in Bellvitge and a 32 year old man admitted to intensive care in the Joan XXIII Hospital in Tarragona. The Junta de Andalucia says both the American 12 year old boy and military man from the naval base at Rota remain in a serious but stable condition. A new case, of a woman who is 28 weeks pregnant, has been reported from Tenerife, and there is another adult admitted to the Doctor Negrín Hospital on Gran Canaria. An outbreak of the virus has also been detected at a summer camp in Navarra where 18 children are affected, but all of them with mild symptoms. ' don't be so insecure to that person you think having a better life than you do, coz sometimes, that one thing you're jealous of, is the only thing she has, and of all the fun simple things you enjoy, who knew, she might have been praying so hard to be in your shoes.' - dkny |
