Are Philippine colleges not good enough?
It is said that Philippine colleges are not up to standard compared with the institutions of higher learning of other countries. Should we just study abroad? The Commission on Higher Education or CHED is making reforms in the higher education system, but will these reforms work in the long run? Shouldn’t we just start looking at graduate school essays and personal statement MBA and just apply for colleges and universities in other countries?

RE: Are Philippine colleges not good enough?
studying abroad is probably one of the best opportunities any student could have. But the truth of the matter is, this idea cannot apply to all filipino students. In the sense that with the most obvious reason: money. It's too expensive. Not just the tuition fee but also the other incidental costs you will incur.
On the other hand, studying in the Philippines has it's positive side. The tuition fee is less expensive compare with international learning institutions abroad. Furthermore, I believe, getting a job or being successful will always depends on you. If the standard of the universities/colleges here in the Philippines is not the same as to other countries, then why the foreign employers are still hiring filipinos? |
