Irritating Installations: Xbox 360 vs. Playstation 3
Default Irritating Installations: Xbox 360 vs. Playstation 3
Since even before the launch of the PS3, Sony fans were touting the system’s incredible processing power as several orders of magnitude beyond that of the Xbox 360. So far we haven’t seen much proof of that in terms of graphical performance, but much of that is due to the general downturn in exclusive titles- developing two separate versions of a game would be far less cost-effective. Having recently picked up Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 to play with my fiancée on the PS3 (she finds the 360 controllers a bit too bulky) we popped in the disc, excited to once again run around as superheroes and pound various enemies into oblivion. Nothing was available until after it finished the lengthy installed. Well first it had to download an update. Unlike the 360, which simply gives you the choice of updating you’re game or signing out of Xbox Live. Usually when I’m playing a new game I’m far too excited about getting started on it to worry about the patch. If there are serious game-crashing bugs, then I’ll go back and update it.

RE: Irritating Installations: Xbox 360 vs. Playstation 3
I say Xbox 360 still wins over PS3.
In terms of the button layout..
I was playing Street Fighter IV on my friend's PS3 and using the PS3's controller was bad enough that I kept on losing.
That's how bad it is..
I'm not saying that I got used with the Xbox 360's controller, I'm just saying it has a better layout which feels good in your hands, and better to use in playing..

Actually both are good for different type of game.If you like racing type of game then xbox is good but if you want to play fighting game like street fight or something then ps3 is better. and one more advantage of ps3 is you can play blueray disk.

I'm pretty sure you're talking about the Arcade console which is a very old console for the Xbox 360 generation.
If you've seen their newest ones, it's more sleek and smaller, built in WIFI, and best of all , NO RED RING OF DEATH unlike the older versions of consoles.
That's because this new console has their own cooling systems that keeps the console from being warm for hours and keeps the dusts out too!
And that plays Blueray discs too!

Both consoles have their strengths. MS Kinect you to monitor the movement of IT services for online game comes playing. If you are one of the game. X-Box Live Gold, and of course it is bad between the two countries, a solid connection. PSN is ramped up. It is cheaper than X-Box Live Gold.

RE: Irritating Installations: Xbox 360 vs. Playstation 3
One more thing, when you choose to update your PS3, you can't go back.
In Xbox 360, if the patch somehow FAILS you, you can delete the patch by clearing up your memory's cache and you're good to go.
Like the patch in NBA 2K11, some hated how the "My Player" was changed so I told them to clear their console's cache and play it offline so they won't be asked to update the game again when they go online.

Anyways, Before Kinect in Xbox 360 came out, Microsoft gave an update to everyone to change the layout of the Xbox 360 into its newer model.
In other words, when my XBox 360 started the update, the interface changed, so it looks more towards Kinect, just like the newer models. It's used to be green, now it's mostly white.
After that, they even changed the banner of the new games they made, the top used to be green, now it's just White with green and blue streaks from the Kinect.
I'm planning on getting a Kinect this coming Boxing Day.
Why? Because it's an original idea, and it's the first sensor where you are able to use both your hands and feet.
Kinect was formerly named Project Natal.
PS3's Move was only an idea started later this year and released it before Kinect.
I played it and it's just like Wii.
I also played Kinect demos in-stores, and I must say I loved it!
Best of all, it's controller free!

Always install games, no matter if I can anyway. It's something that hopefully will allow all PS3 games in the future. Listening to HD. Is quieter and less wear on the console.
