Classroom uli...

"Okay lang...As long as you forgive our English...hehe." Said Kris that made the whole class agree with her.
"Since two hours tayo ngayon, I'll get the first hour para maglesson and then I'll give you the other one to let Jake know you better."
"Swerte natin Ray!Thanks Jake!" Sabi ni Felix while waving at Jake. Jake responded with a nod and a smile.
"Absent si Kev right?...Jake, you sit there...Ilipat nalang natin sa dulo si Kev." Said ma'am Tan while pointing at a vacant seat in the middle.

After 50 mins of discussion...

"Okay...Alam kong pagod na kayo kaya iiwan ko na muna tong klase...Mica, you take in charge...Bahala kayo kung anong gusto nyong gawin basta walang maingay at walang lalabas ng room." Sabi ni ma'am.
Pagkaalis ni ma'am, tumayo si Mica at inintroduce ang sarili para lalong makilala ni Jake.
"Hi...I'm Mica. I was your classmate before if you remember. I'm also the class president and I welcome you in behalf of the class...I'm sure you won't regret coming back to our school."
After that intro, tumingin siya kay Nikki at sinabing
"Niks...kaw naman!nosebleed nako!"
Tumayo din si Nikki at nilapitan si Jake then sinabing,"Hello...My name is Nikki, I hope you still remember me, cause we're close friends before." Sabi nya while smiling.
"yeah...I think I remember both of you." Replied Jake.
Umupo na sina Nikki and Mica while Marie stood up.
"turn ko na?...hehe...I'm Marie. I'm one of your classmates din before, okay lang if you don't remember. Mica is right, you won't regret that you came back...kasi masaya kaming kasama...ooooppss, tagalog ah."
"No, it's okay. I quite understand Filipino basta di mabilis. And it's fine if you speak to me in Filipino because that way I'd learn it better." Replied Jake.
"Okay lang pala eh! Pano, turn ko na...hehe...I'm Ray Davila, call me Ray. Hindi naman sa pagmamayabang but I'm one of the most handsome here...hehehe..I'm not one of your classmates before pero I hope we'll be good friends." Sabi ni Ray (isa sa mga handsomes ng school).
"Thanks...I'm hoping too."
"I'm Arwin Tanglao...call me Ar, Win, Arwin, Tangs, or Tanglao...hehehe. Nice meeting you." Sabi naman ni Arwin (ang class joker).
"Nice meeting you too."
"Oh ako naman! Hi...I'm Jenny...if you need to know something, just ask me, I'm actually the class' walking encyclopedia...hehe." Sabi ni Jenny (isa sa pinakamatalino ng class).
"wow...I will."
"I'm Shan Albo. If Jenny is the walking encyclopedia of the class...I'm the class' professional walker, you know, I like going out so you can ask me of the latest and hottest spots here in the campus." Sabi ni Shan.
"I'll take note of that."
"Hello...I'm Claudine. Nice meeting you and welcome to the family."
"thanks."
"Ako naman ha...I'm Felix, small but terrible. My size may be small compared to you but I can eat food more than you...hehehe" Sabi naman ni Felix.
"wow...is that true?"
"Ay OO!Ako naman ha. I'm Kris Luna. Likes ko: reading novels, shopping, di masyado ang eating. And I'm definitely single...hehehe..." Biro naman ni Kris (isa rin sa mga clowns ng class).
"hehe...i'm single too."
MORE INTROS...........
After the intros, nagring ang bell and tumayo si Jake and sinabing:
"Wow...thanks guys for being friendly. I appreciated all these and right now, I guess I will have a good time with my stay here. And uhhh...I would like to invite you all to our house on Saturday because my mom is throwing a party. I hope you could all come. That's all...I would like to join you more today but I have to go...See you all tomorrow."

"See you!"
"I'll miss you!ingat ka!hehehe" Sabi ng pasaway na si Kris.

In Highschool, last week of June 2007

Ramirez' Residence...

It's Saturday...busy sa house kasi naghanda ng party ang parents ni Jake for thanksgiving and syempre,homecoming party, matagal na kasing hindi nakakauwi ang family at ngayon lang sila nagkaroon ng chance para makita uli yung mga friends nila.

"Where are the veggies?" Tanong ng mom.
"Pineprepare pa po pero mga 10 mins na lang okay na."
"O sige, you place them in the middle ha."
"Ma, relax. Let them handle it. Nandito tayo para magbakasyon." Paalala ng dad.
"Inaalalayan ko lang sila. Pero sige, I'll go and shower, visitors may come any minute now."
"Right!"
"Sir, Jake's classmates are on the gates." Sabi ni Raph sa dad.
"Okay. Let them in. Charles, where's your brother? Tell him his classmates are here."
"Must be in his room." Sagot ni Charles sa dad and then dumiretso sya sa room ng kapatid. Nakita nya ang kuya nya na naglalaro.
"Kuya, your classmates are here."
"Okay, I'll be there in a minute."
"What are you doing?"
"Finishing a mission. But I'll try it again later, I don't get the last part here...Let's go." Pinatay ni Jake ang Xbox at niyaya na ang kapatid.
"Are your classmates coming?"
"I don't think they know our place. I invited them though."
"We could've asked Raph to fetch them."
"Nah. It's okay."
Nasa living room palang sila pero dinig na ang boses ng mga classmates ni Jake from outside.
"Grabe ah! Ilang bisita kaya ang darating...ang daming pagkain!" Sabi ni Robbie, isa sa mga pinakamaiingay na classmates ni Jake.
"Robbie! Tumahimik ka nga, nakakahiya." Sabi ni Nikki.
"Mommy Nikki naman...wag KJ!Tayo palang naman nandito."
"Robbie!Pag di ka tumigil..." Sagot ni Mica.
"Jake!!" Nagulat ang lahat sa lakas ng sigaw ni Kris.
"Hi...I'm so glad you came." Sabi ni Jake.
"And uh, this is my brother, Charles." Pakilala ni Jake sa mga kaklase.
"Hello. Thanks for coming." Sabi ni Charles na nakasmile.
"Hi..." Sabi ng buong klase, nakasmile din.
"I don't want to interrupt you so I'm gonna go inside. Pleased to meet you all."
"Naku...you're not interrupting anything at all" Sagot ni Marie.
"Oh...thanks, but I still need to do something."
"Okay...Oh and tell dad that Aunt Hil are here." Sabi ni Jake after makita ang sasakyan ng Auntie nya.
"Wait...just get any food on the table...I'll be back." Sabi ni Jake sa mga kaklase then pumunta sya sa mga relatives para magmano.

After almost a year!
I finally had the chance to post and update...


Ramirez' Residence continuation...

"Oh Felix, nakailang balik ka na ba ha? parang ikaw ang uubos sa lahat ng pagkain dito ah." Sabi ni Robbie.
"Eh sa libre eh..."
Napansin ng mga magkakaklase na papalapit ang mom ni Jake kaya nagsitahimik ang mga ito.
"Hello...I'm Jake's mom, thanks for coming...and magpakabusog kayo ha, wag mahiya."
"Naku, thank you po tita for inviting us! And pagpasensyahan nyo na po if maingay tong mga to" Sabi ni Nikki.
"Ay, wala yon...Masaya ako't nakikita ko kayong nag-eenjoy. And Nikki right, kamusta ka na? And your mom?"
"Okay naman po, sa San Diego, Cali po siya ngayon nagwowork."
"That's what I've heard nga...Eh ikaw, dalaga ka na ha...ang dami ko ng utang sa inaanak ko. Wait, may boyfriend ka na ba?"
"Aahh..hehe. Wala pa po tita, studies po muna."
"Iha, tama yan, studies muna. Pero syempre, wala din masama na mag-enjoy..."
"Tita talaga oh..hehe"
"Well, I've been in my teenage years as well... Nga pala, did you bring your swim suits?"
"Swim suits? as in two piece?" asked Marie.
"Ah, not exactly, basta any clothing for swimming"
"hehe...meron po!"
"Good...sige, maiwan ko muna kayo...you may swim anytime you want, pero i advice you na pahinga muna after eating."
"Yes po!" Sabi ng buong grupo.

After 20 minutes...

pumunta si Jake sa table ng mga mates niya.

"Hi...I'm back...hehe."
"JAKE! hehe. Pwede bang magswimming?" Tanong ni Felix.
"Of course...Pero you just finished eating, right? You might want to take a rest before you go to avoid getting cramps."
"Ayy...Don't worry, we are so strong that we don't experience those things." Sabi ni Robbie.
"Really...Then it's up to you."
"Tara na! hehe..."
"Tara, bihis na tayo!" Sabi ni Kris sa mga kaklase.
"Maya nalang ako best." Sagot ni Mica.
"Oh, bahala kayo, ako...magswimming na, ilalabas ko na ang aking swim suit." Sabi ni Marie.
"Ako din! Ipapractice ko pa yung natutunan ko last summer." Sabi naman ni Nikki.
"Kaw din Niks? Edi ako lang pala maiiwan mag-isa dito?"
"Ah, Don't worry, samahan muna kita...I'm still not in the mood to get in the water." Sabi ni Jake.

Nagswimming na nga ang mga classmates ni Jake...
Naiwan sa table sina Jake and Mica...

"Uhh...since they left us, let me interview you, okay?"
"An interview? Yeah...okay"
"First of all, are you enjoying your stay? I mean, your stay with us."
"Well...I've been with you for a few days, and I think it's better than I've hoped for."
"And what is that you've hoped for?"
"When we migrated in the US, my parents didn't enroll us in a school. My brother and I were home-schooled until I reached 6th grade. So obviously, I never had friends during those years. Our parents were busy with work so Charles is my only playmate and that sucks. And then my parents finally enrolled us in a real school, it was an all-male school, so I'm kind of not used to having GIRL friends. And being back here, means I'll be adjusting again, but I guess I'll be much happier in here since I'll be having friends like you."
"Of course! Sa ganda kong to, sino ang di matutuwa!haha!"
"hmm?"
"ah, wala...hehe. You said that you never had friends who are girls back in US, does that mean you never had a girlfriend?"
"yeah...like I said, i came from an all-boys school, it's actually weird for me to talk to a girl."
"Woah...Then, I'd tell you not to worry. We, the girls, are friendly. Who knows, your first girlfriend might be one of us!haha!"
"yeah...why not?"


Nag-uusap ang dalawa nang biglang may sumigaw!...

Ramirez' Residence Continuation...

"Mommy Nikki!"

Nagulat ang lahat sa sigaw ni Robbie. Nang makita kung ano ang nangyayari, biglang tinanggal ni Jake ang mga sapatos niya at tumalon sa pool. Mabilis siyang lumangoy patungo kay Nikki at nang makarating, dinala niya siya sa may hagdan para makahinga nang maayos.

"Are you okay?"
"Yes, thanks."

Lumapit sa kanila ang mga classmates nila.

"okay ka lang? Sorry di namin agad napansin." Sabi ni Felix.
"anu ba kasing ginagawa niyo, nauna pa yung wala sa pool sa inyo."
"sorry talaga, nagrace kasi kami, masyadong occupied ang isip, sorry." Paliwanag ni Jenny.
"Okay lang...aww!" Tinignan ni Nikki ang kanang paa.
"Ah, you got cramps. Wait."

Jake stretched Nikki's right leg and massaged it. Jake's mom arrived and asked "What happened? Nikki, are you okay?"
"Opo tita, just muscle cramps."
"Ok, Jake, bring her inside, I'll prepare a heat pack for her" Sabi ng mom and pumasok na siya sa loob.

"Let's go."
"I'll help you." Sabi ni Ray.
They carried Nikki inside and laid her to the sofa.
"Mommy, ang bigat mo!" Sabi ni Ray.
"haha..."
"Che! Dalawa na nga kayo...Weak lang kayo! haha!"
Lumapit ang mom ni Jake sa kanila and binibigay yung heat pack kay Nikki.
"here, use this, it will help a lot."
Mabilis na kinuha ni Jake yung pack sa mom niya and sinabing
"I'll do it. Just rest and relax." Then Jake winked at Nikki.
"I gotta leave you muna. Puntahan ko lang yung mga ibang visitors. Jake, you take care of my inaanak."
"Yes mom."
At lumabas na nga ang mom niya.
"Ehemm...Nikki, ipagpapatuloy muna namin yung race ha, looks like you're safe naman eh." Sabi ni Jenny habang sinasama palabas ang mga kaklase.
"Ehemm...Mommy, ikaw ha, sabi ko akin siya, pero sige na nga..." sabi ni Kris.
"Sige Niks, Jake, magswim na din ako." Sabi ni Mica.
"Okay, be careful!"
"Naku, nagbabalak pa naman akong magkacramps! haha!" Biro ni Kris habang palabas na sila.
"Kris, akala ko bang okay ka na kay Nikki na si Jake?" Tanong ni Robbie.
"Joke nga eh! Joke! Di makaintindi?" Sigaw niya.

"Does it still hurt?" Tanong ni Jake habang pinapatong ang heat pack sa leg ni Nikki.
"Yeah, a bit. Thanks! And I'm sorry cause you got wet."
"Ah, it's nothing. I can change my clothes later."
**Okay, I'm really not used to this...I'm getting awkward.**
Hindi alam ni Jake kung ano ang sasabihin at tahimik din naman si Nikki kaya naisipan nalang ni Jake na hayaan nalang ang katahimikan.
"Ahhmm Jake?"
"Ye-es?" **Okay I'm stammering. What's happening to me?I can't be like this!**
"Ahh, wala lang..."
**She must be bored with me.**
"How are you?"
"Huh?"
"I mean, you were sick before, right? Are you all okay now?"
"Wha-t? How'd you know that?"
"Well, besides we're close friends before, don't forget that our moms are barkadas..."
"Right! I'm all okay now, I think. Why are you smiling like that?"
"I just remembered how 'sakitin' you were before. Remember the time na nadapa ka and you're all covered in blood?"
"Really?"
"Yup...Who would have thought that you would be a 'savior'?"
"You're bad! Don't judge a book by its cover, remember? haha..."
"Really, you're thin back then. And you look weak."
"haha! okay, I'll accept that...but i'm thin and HANDSOME!"
"And some things never change. HAHA! mafeeling ka pa din."
"Huh?"
"Wala...I said my leg is fine, I can swim na."
"Ah!"
"Tara, let's join our classmates na. Sayang ang pool kung di tayo maliligo." Sabi ni Nikki habang dahan-dahang tumatayo.
"Yeah." Replied Jake, inaalalayan si Nikki.

Pumunta na nga sa pool ang dalawa para makasama ang mga kaklase.
