Digestive Problems : Herbs & Spices
Almost all the herbs and spices traditionally used in the kitchen, or drunk as tisanes, have a beneficent on the digestion.
To name only a few, mint and peppermint, dill, caraway, horseradish, bay, chervil, tarragon, chives, garlic, marjoram, cinnamon, ginger, sweet paprika, cumin, fenugreek, fennel, cardamom, slippery elm, camomile, lime. The idea that highly spiced foods should be avoided is generally unfounded, in moderation, many spices are in fact a help to the digestive process. ' don't be so insecure to that person you think having a better life than you do, coz sometimes, that one thing you're jealous of, is the only thing she has, and of all the fun simple things you enjoy, who knew, she might have been praying so hard to be in your shoes.' - dkny |
