Manny Pacquiao loses pound-for-pound title to Floyd Mayweather, Jr.

"Pacquiao looked confused at times and lacked snap on his punches in a less-than-stellar outing. It just wasn't the kind of performance we have come to expect from Pacquiao, especially in light of the fact that Marquez had been wiped out by Mayweather in 2009 in his only other welterweight fight," writes Dan Rafael on ESPN's pound-for-pound rankings.
Pacquiao dropped to number 2 on ESPN and Sports Illustrated rankings, making Floyd Mayweather Jr. the number one pound-for-pound fighter.
The Ring magazine, on the other hand, retained the Pinoy Boxing Champ at the top spot in its rankings.
