A good nursing/care home will have a clear policy that ensures the residents right to dignity, privacy and choice.
The residents should be able to have a care free existence and enjoy all kinds of benefits including personal care, cleaning, laundry, good food, pleasant company and caring staff. Providing an environment that is safe, nurturing, client focused and needs led. All older people should be considered as an individual with respect for personal tastes, preferences and needs. ' don't be so insecure to that person you think having a better life than you do, coz sometimes, that one thing you're jealous of, is the only thing she has, and of all the fun simple things you enjoy, who knew, she might have been praying so hard to be in your shoes.' - dkny |
