My First Friend

I was a dark haired me
And you, friend, my cherry twin
No other great appearance that filled our days
But beach, sun and make ups
Warm sand and paint blob fields
And earth damp grass beneath the mist
No love juice could make us break friends
Now we laugh politely at childhood
Time has ripped apart the cherry stems
And planted us in separate gardens.
