Quickie Baked Apple

1 tsp cinnamon
8 baking apples, peeled, cored and thickly sliced
2 tbsp dark brown sugar
3/4 cup pineapple juice
1/2 cup finely chopped fresh pineapple
1/3 cup chopped walnuts





Preheat the oven to 350º.
Place the apple slices in a well buttered deep pie plate.
Sprinkle the cinnamon and sugar.
Pour juice over the apples and spoon pineapple over all.
Sprinkle the walnuts over the top and bake 40 minutes.
Cool and chill.
