If I Told Somebody

I'm a girl in darkness
with a secreet to keep;
No, there's no one that knows
the sole reason I weep

He's a man I trusted,
his blood the same as mine.
Do I didn't expect,
he would dare cross the line...

I cried for some mercy,
begged him to let me go;
But in his eyes flashed lust,
and things I still don't know...

I gave a piercing cry,
releasing painful tears;
I screamed for 'nyone's help,
yet I know no one hears

I started feeling sore,
from what he steals from me
And when he was finished,
all he said was sorry...

I slumped to depression
and then felt like a fool --
Isn't it my fault that
I've been used like some tool?

The crime he's committed
I kept inside of me;
I pretended I'm fine,
and fooled the world to see...

I thought it made me strong
to silence from the wrong;
This nightmare I still feel
Couldn't be for much long...

But what a fool I am
for covering the crime!
And now things are too late
I had been left by time...

Now no one would listen,
Now no one would believe;
The silent cry for help
I must just have to leave...

If I told somebody,
I might have known some peace;
If I told somebody,
Maybe I'd have justice....

Victims deserve their peace... Victims deserve justice...
