Have you ever been in love before?
He tells you he loves you. He says
he won't ever break your heart,
he kisses you and you wish it would never end.

With only a few words it's all over.
You can't stop thinking about him.
Even when you have a boyfriend.
You know it's so wrong but,
to daydream about how it used to be,
and how it could have been.

Then one day you see him,
and all of the sweet memories come back.
You begin to cry quietly to yourself.
Hoping he can't tell you're so hurt.
   
He doesn't even look up to see you.
He just keeps looking out in front of himself,
as if you weren't even there.

Yes I've been in love before and it hurts.
I really don't want to fall in love again.
But it's so easy to do when you meet the perfect guy...
the guy of your dreams.
