Do you believe in happy endings?

I was watching a movie in HBO just a while ago, in the end part the guy asked a girl if she believes in happy endings… and it dawned on me if I do too.. I mean not like fairy tale happy endings, it,s just that maybe it meant if I believe I could be happy for the days to come… you all know I,m kinda gloomy right now… and you know what I thought… I could be happy, if I,m contented of what and who I have in my life… particularly speaking about my best friend… he called me up last night, well, that was like 1am… he was talking about the “girls” in his life, and to my surprise, it didn,t hurt anymore… yeah, I sound like a broken record, but this time it,s real… I,m satisfied that there could never be more that friendship for the both of us… and I couldn,t be happier…
