Shining Parts (ImageReady Animation)
make a realistic shine.
photoshop 7.0 or up with imageready.
level: advanced

1. Open up a picture where you want to add this effect to. I used a Sith Trooper with a Diecast Metal Armor

[Image: 1-1.gif]

2. Select the part you want to shine by using the Magnetic Lasso Tool, and copy it onto a new layer (or right click and select layer via copy)

[Image: 2-2.gif]

3. Create a new layer above the (in my case) shoulder-part and add THIS gradient; choose either horizontal or vertical gradient (i choose the horizontal gradient)

[Image: 3-2.gif]

4. Make it look like this; (colors must be black, #000000, and white, #FFFFFF)

[Image: 4-2.gif]

5. Position the gradient layer;

6. Press CTRL+G and set it to overlay;

7. Hop onto Image-ready and press the following button;

8. Make the 1st frame have a palette like on the left, and the 2nd frame like the one on the right;

        1st frame                       2nd frame

9. Press the tween-button and set these options;

10. And this is what it looks like when you've done everything correct:

Re: shining parts
Paano mag select ng part, medyo nahirapan ako jan. lalo na kung may mga curves sinubukan ko itong tutorial pero nakikita ang gradient na rectangle habang nagsa-shine.
