i just want to ask the people from abroad, did you have trouble making friends there and is the majority of the people there friendly.. i just want to know what the foreigners are like.. i've never been abroad..

Majority of americans in usa are very friendly. You got to know the culture, language and way of life. Americans are very outspoken..they tell you what is in their mind, very frank sila..if they dont like you, they said it in your face. I have no problem making friends with white americans, mexicans, spanish, chinese...

Calfornia is the melting pot of all races around the world...so we pinoys fit in perfectly .

Pilipinos and other immigrants mostly live in big cities because it is where the jobs are. Pinoys usually live in San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York City, Chicago, Las Vegas..Actually kahit saan part ng USA meron Pinoy....pinoy everywhere...ang dami natin dito.

In the southern states like Tennessee, MIsssippi specially in rural areas, there are hardly no pinoys or immigrant living there...the south still practice RACISM...kaya mahirap matira sa south area ng usa.

I hope this help you Irene....the others who live in the other part of the world might tell you their experience....thanks for asking...nice to meet you here Irene.... Grin

thanks for the helpful info poca  Grin i learned alot.

Re: Pilipinos na nakatira sa ibang Bansa
@ shawty....good information...

yes you are right...IDAHO is not popular place for immigrants to live....kasi everyone goes to big cities....Idaho is like an unknown states for us pinoys....mostly white americans talaga ang nakatira diyan.

masasanay ka rin makipag-kaibigan later on...period of adjustment ka pa lang..

yong pinoy na lumaki dito when they arrived at early age of 1 to 10 speaks english only and hardly understand tagalog at all ( like my nieces and nephews ) and for those born in usa....they totally speak english only ( like my other nephew )...and they are totally american in every way...but if you get to know them well, they are all friendly too.
As a matter of fact, they are embarrased to talk with regular pinoys kasi they can not speak Tagalog...

Life in another country is really totally different....what an experience right ?

Anyway....meron bang PART 2 itong story mo ?  I will be waiting....bye for now shawty...thanks for the post.... Zzb

tama poh yan!
buti na lng dmi na kmi kilala d2 na mga Pinoy din bago pa kmi lumipat d2 na magkakaptid...
coz nauna yung parents ko d2, in-invite lng talag sila sa isang Wedding d2, then my dad decided to apply for provincial nominee...
Grin

yan yung part 2..

Meron bang part 3 ito ?  hehehehe....keep posting "D"  W

You are one of those lucky people who have no problem in adjusting your new life in your adopted country...

sanayan at suertehan lang ang pagtira at pag pili ng country gustong mong tirahan....most canadians are really friendly....i have been in Vancouver, Victoria Island, Calgary Alberta.....years ago for a tour...beautiful landscapes, scenery and high rocky mountains talaga sa Canada. I love it there !!! except for the snowy weather  ..

oo nga pala...you forgot to mention that the NATIVE AMERICAN INDIANS ( mga indians living in Canada) are the overwheming MINORITY in Canada...they are everywhere....parang langam....right ??

AND also.....isang tambak ang mga pilipino sa Canada....next to USA.....we are everywhere all over the world. Dito sa  states, over 2 million yata...puede nang mag-create ng isang "little Philippines " sa dami natin. Zzb
