sanayan at suertehan lang ang pagtira at pag pili ng country gustong mong tirahan....most canadians are really friendly....i have been in Vancouver, Victoria Island, Calgary Alberta.....years ago for a tour...beautiful landscapes, scenery and high rocky mountains talaga sa Canada. I love it there !!! except for the snowy weather  ..

oo nga pala...you forgot to mention that the NATIVE AMERICAN INDIANS ( mga indians living in Canada) are the overwheming MINORITY in Canada...they are everywhere....parang langam....right ??

AND also.....isang tambak ang mga pilipino sa Canada....next to USA.....we are everywhere all over the world. Dito sa  states, over 2 million yata...puede nang mag-create ng isang "little Philippines " sa dami natin.

dito ang tawag namin sa  mga
1. americano -------  PUTI
2. Negro ------------ ITIM
3. Mexicans --------  Wetbacks  ( mga illegal aliens)
4. Pilipinos ----------- Pinoy

am equi. location ko is in chicago illinois. am here with my sister trina21 and my father. one year na kame dito sa november. i still don't have friends na matatawag na barkada although i always go out with my sister and her friends from work. puro pilipino kasi sila. i found the school here nice pero medyo complicated. mababait mga prof ko. hindi fixed ung subjects for a certain course. u have to meet with student advisors para malaman mo kung anong subjs dapat mong kunin for your course. di tulad sa pilipinas na nakaayos na lahat. hehe. courtesy is important. you have to say thankyou and greet each other kapag  kelangan. may mga pilipino din sa school kaso sa classes ko isa lang ung classmate ko. the weather here is very unpredictable. nagsnow na nga last thursday. anyway. mahiyain kasi ako kaya i don't approach people para kausapin. pero may mga kakilala naman na ako na classmates ko. i miss most sa pilipinas is the dishes. am stuck to eating chinese foods, burgers, and pizzas. ung ibang ingredients kasi for filipino dishes wala dito. i learned how to independent. when my father's at work, i have to eat microwavable foods or magprito ng mga ulam. i also learned how to wash clothes and clean the house. dati kasi hindi ko gawain yan.

i miss my mom and grandparents. i also miss my barkada and the beach. wala kasi beach dito.

hi equi...just post this one regarding to what u said..y dont u take it the other way round yah?if i were u id be glad to learn those things at earlier age...chores like cleaning n cooking is not hard my dear..i can say coz ive been trained by my grandparents way back in phil..but i never really did the washing of clothes coz my grandmy olweiz did it for me.n here i got my mum to do it..jejeje..its not so tough coz each house in abroad has washing machines isnt??it can imagine its not so easy having friends but hey you can speak their language so u can do it..unlike the 1st years i stayed in here..i barely understand them.so i studied spanish as not all of them speaks english..to be exact,they dont really speak english b4.last 3 years ago they only added english subjects as the amount of foreigners increased..see its not that bad...you can do it..believe me it wont take u long time adjusting urself..u just gotta know how to dance with the music...ayt!!so till here n i hope i made u feel better..ciao

Tama ka palapuz...maybe equinox need to move to canada....kasi nandiyan lahat ang hinahanap niya....

Pero...he can also move here in California.....we have tons of beaches here....kasi surrounded ng pacific oceans ang calif...

@ equinox....you are in the period of adjusment...pag tagal tagal...you will get used to the living conditions in IL...later on, you will say...i want to live here forever ....hehehe....that happened to me  too when i first came here........
