Hello sa mga Fnets member na nakatira sa abroad, dito tayo. I notice that marami pala tayo dito like Basstard, Palapuz, Mysteriouza, equinox, etc.etc...

Tell us your experiences: on living in a foreign country, your work experiences, how the local people treats you, about the place you are living now, etc.etc.

For the other members living in pinas & planning to immigrate in another country in the future  and who wants information....you may ask us and we will answer them for you to the best of our knowledge.

hello....I am Poca...i live in northern california USA....Life here is entirely the opposite in Pinas...You need to adapt the culture & way of life in order to "belong" to the new society you live in....Actually hindi totally...you have to keep your own pinoy identity.

Life is fast,quick and easy here...Kung hindi ka tamad theres plenty of job here....lots of opportunity...everything you need is here. Easy to assimilate and find friends of different nationality.

But I still miss Philippines...the noisy crowded bus, jeepneys, open flea market na tawaran ng tawaran, our native foods, weather and friendly pilipinos..

masaya nmn ang buhay d2 sa Canada...
kahit kailan pwede makakuha ng bahay dahil pwede ka mangutang kung first time...

work nmn...
madali maghanap...
ikaw na lng bahala kung gugustuhinmo o hindi?
coz ang mahirap lng eh yung pag-i-schedule niyo...
kaya nga ako, kung kaya lng matagal na ako nagwo-work...
eh kaso very busy...
di ako makahanap ng tamang schedule..
kung meron lng libre matagal na akong nag-apply kung saan-saan...
pero yun nga...

palibhasa kc MULTICULTURAL so everyone is treated equally...

ang mahirap lng d2 sa area namin malamig!
like right now...
sobrang lamig sa labas!
umaabot ng hanggang -40+ ang windchill d2...
kaya doble-doble ang jacket pag nasa labas kmi...
pero ayos nmn pag summer...
parang Pinas din...
ang pinagkaiba nga lng, diyan sa Pinas kahit BER month na, may kainitan pa rin...
di tulad d2, winter...

madami na ngang bago na nagma-migrate d2 sa Winnipeg eh...
lalo na galing diyan sa Pinas...
madalas sila d2..
tapos yung iba na may experience na d2, naglo-long drive sa Calgary para dun manirahan...
etong Winnipeg ata ang pinakamasayang City among the popular ones like Edmonton, Calgary, Toronto, and stuff like that...
dahil d2, lahat malalapit...
school, work, supermarket, yung mga ganung bagay...
kaya di sayang yung income...
di tulad sa iba, ang lalayo ng palengke, tapos sa palengke andun na lahat, like, school & work so bale-wla ang income...

thanks for your approval mr.admin....the best thing that happened to us all is discovering this forum...the FNETS..at least we could go here and find new friends from home....parang nasa pinas ka rin, puro kababayan ang nandito, it cures our homesickness.

heyah everyone...or should i say holla que tal a todos???well im mystie from spain.. as we all know spaniards came to our place many years ago..one great thing they shared was the catholic religion..which means they are noble and religious...spanish people are very kind and they are welcoming everybody..one of the best attitude they have is to greet "buenos diaz or buenas tardes or buenas noches" to every person they meet in everyday though they dont know u.so there is no feeling of loneliness nor homesickness..spanish people are very friendly..in europe, spain is one the countries that has a huge number of migrants..particularly english,norwegians and italians.. job offers in here is plenty..u can work as much as u can...restaurants is most common on job offerings in here..and to earn euro is quite good as its quite high on phil peso rate...
i work on italian restaurant as a juggler..i enjoy my job so much..and of course filipino couples work on houses as full time or caretakers...

being abroad is really the best blessing 4 me..and to realise the fact that i love where i am..ill stay here for good but plan to go back in phil on retirement age..i wanna have my own fam n raise my kids here someday..

im missing phil so bad as i havent been home since i left..a holiday soon would be a gr8 break 4 me..

hi irene..for me here it wasnt really a problem..as i said its so easy to get along with spanish people..they are darlings..
and of course there are loads now of pinoys in here...

Majority of americans in usa are very friendly. You got to know the culture, language and way of life. Americans are very outspoken..they tell you what is in their mind, very frank sila..if they dont like you, they said it in your face. I have no problem making friends with white americans, mexicans, spanish, chinese...

Calfornia is the melting pot of all races around the world...so we pinoys fit in perfectly .

Pilipinos and other immigrants mostly live in big cities because it is where the jobs are. Pinoys usually live in San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York City, Chicago, Las Vegas..Actually kahit saan part ng USA meron Pinoy....pinoy everywhere...ang dami natin dito.

In the southern states like Tennessee, MIsssippi specially in rural areas, there are hardly no pinoys or immigrant living there...the south still practice RACISM...kaya mahirap matira sa south area ng usa.
