Letters from Iwo Jima.. 10/10
The story about Japanese soldiers fighting the americans during the world war 2 sa island Iwo Jima south of Japan. Kawawa yung mga hapon.. nde nagpadala ng support yung mainland japan kasi dinedefend yung mainland japan at masyadong advance ang gamit ng americans.Air strtike , navy strike, flame thrower, lahat na. Dumating sa point na wala nang pag asa ang mga hapon, naubusan n ng ammunition, tubig pagkain, etc.. Anu ang ginawa nila?Yung iba nag suicide. they put their grenades in their torso.. naniniwala kasi sila sa qoute na : "I am determined to serve and give my life for my country. If our children can live safely for one more day it would be worth the one more day that we defend this island. " Pero pasaway yung ibang japanese soldiers. Nangako kasi sila na uuwi sila sa mga asawa at anak nila . WtF! napaka strict ang mga hapon dati.. they really follow their moral codes and beliefs strictly. Talagang magpapakamatay sila para sa bansa nila how nationalistic!!! One of the Best Films of 2006  Magegets nyo kung bakit letters from Iwo Jima yung titile nung movie if you watch it..

1. All the Kings Men - Sean Penn ----- drama, about politics. Based on the story of Huey Long, Governor of Lousiana State in USA. Sean is very good in his performance, he acts & talk like the real Huey Long. This is about politics & Corruption in the govt.
2. Man of the Year---- Robin Williams ---- comedy.... he was a standup comic & became a candidate for President & won. But he did not really win because of computer glitz or error. Robin is very funny in this picture. |

The Black Dahlia - suspense thriller..Josh Harnett plays detective trying to find out who killed the Dahlia. Hilary Swank was very convincing in her role as the daughter of the man suspected to be the killer.....it is a twist & turn story...you will enjoy watching it.
Something New -- Blair Underwood ---- romance story between a black lady & a white man & Blair is caught in the middle of the romance. Nice ending....Find out who the girl pick, the white or the black ( Blair ) guy ? |
