~For me, the pen tool is very useful when I want to select an image from a picture. Here's a video tutorial how to use the pen tool. It's quite easy when you get used to it. Enjoy!

Thanks ha. Di talaga ako marunong gumamit ng pen tool. Very useful nga daw ito. Ang ginagamit ko kasi dati ay lasso tool. Medyo kailangan di ka pasmado pag 'yun yung gnagamit kaya dapat alam ko yung pen tool para mas lalo akong gumaling sa photoshop. Thank you.

para malaman mo pa ibang gamit niya, bisitahin mo yung vector illustration tutorial d2, di pa siya tapos eh, wala ako time..
but yeah, mostly gamit dun pen tool, kaya good source siya para matuto kang mabuti..

Hi,

Try clicking on the pen tool and holding down the button until you see a second tool with a squiggly line.

The pen tool however will always be a vector tool. It will never truly act like the brush. For that you want to select the brush tool and click on a brush you like to use.

I know, some people think of the pen tool like a brush tool which is wrong coz those are two different things.
I've always used both, especially brush, I'm still working on pen tool especially for vectors.
And for me brush tool is so far my favorite.
You can download brushes online to make your artwork looks better.
As for Pen Tool, well it takes time.
It is not a tool that a newbie would use on it's first day because using pen tool is actually hard and confusing if you ask me.
But still, I always try to challenge myself that's why I'm still struggling on creating the vector Illustration Tutorial.
Oh yeah, you thought I forgot about that already, huh? Of course not!

Excellent video tutorial.Thank to share I knew the basics, about creating paths and editing them, but I watched through the whole tutorial and found a couple of things I did not know.

Sorry about that, it must have been a dead link now. The video was posted few years ago so yeah. I'll try to find the exact same video as a replacement from Youtube.
Hopefully I'll be able to find it.

EDIT: Found the exact same video from Youtube. I figured from the dead link that it was from Youtube so somewhere in the site a backup video should still be there somewhere so I took the old link of the old video, searched up a new video and replaced the video ID of the video with this one and Voila! Found the video!
