meaning, almost one year na akong di nakakapag-post d2..

well, lemme start it off by writing a few thoughts about the ending of my high school life while will soon become the beginning of my university life..


so, high school's done after July for me..
I ain't coming back to high school just to take extra lessons to take a break before university..
I'm going straight to university right after high school..!
so, starting this year (January), I decided to apply in this university my parents wanted me to go, instead of a regular college...
coz I know that I'll have a better future when I go to university...!
kaya ayun, nagpatulong ako sa guidance counselor namin sa school to fill up the applications for the University of Manitoba..
after ko ma-fill-up yun, then the following friday, 2 of my friends and his girlfriend went with me to the university to pass my applications in the morning, it was a gooooood drive..
malayo, but worth it..
what sucks is that, we've been looking for visitor parking spots for more than an hour, but it only took us not even five minutes to submit my application..
ang dami kc sasakyan dun nung pumunta kmi..! daming visitors..
so after that, we went to the nearest mall there, which is St. Vital Mall..
we ate lunch, talked about our life back in Phils...
it was a long talk..
long enough to digest the foods that we just ate..

so after lunch, we were suppose to watch movies but the movie theater's not open 'til 3PM..
kaya we decided to window shop na lng...
bought some items though, kung alin lng kaya ng budget..

after that, we decided to go home coz we were all tired, walking, and all that we food we ate..
plus, it was a pretty long drive back home..
mahirap pa kc inabutan kmi ng rush hour nung pauwi na kami..

anyways...
after ko i-submit yung application form, after one week, they sent me a letter saying that I need to send them my proof of permanent residence and a waiver form from my school..
syempre, nagpatulong na nmn ako sa guidance counselor namin..
she's a BIG, BIG help for me!!!
then nung gabing yun, i sent the letter sa post office...
after 2 weeks of waiting, the lady sent me an email again, saying i have to send them a copy of my "transcript" from grade 9 to grade 11, at least three years of studying at my school, just a proof na nakatira na ako d2 sa Canada for at least three years..
sinend ko rin yun kahapon sa post office ulit..
and now i'm gonna wait for another week or two, for the results, or whatever they might ask..
although, i think that's the last one, i hope..

but yeah, i hope I pass!!!!

I put too much effort into that na whenever they sent me any letters, I tried to reply and give them what they're asking...

my only problem is, there's like 10,000 canadian dollars na babayaran ko for the whole year or four??
~ $5,000+ para sa tuition for the 4 years program..
~ $3,500+ worth for books (sana lang sa amin na yun pagkatapos)
~ $455 for a student parking fee (coz my dad won't let me take the bus, so, marami din ako kasabay na papasok dun, kung sino man pumasa)

kaya nga i'm taking a student plan, kaya after i graduate from university, i'll be working FULL TIME and probably double job or triple just to pay for all my expenses in that school..!

but right now, I just want to know kung pasado ako..!
para wala ng problema..
gas na lng ang problema pag nag-aaral na ako dun..!
malayo eh, V6 pa engine ng car ko..

I HOPE I'LL GET ACCEPTED!!!!!

Goodl luck to you.....I hope you will make it in that University.
Concentrate on your schooling first.......paying your loan is a long way to go after you graduate .....

To save money from gas, ask your classmates to carpool with you, they have to pay & share in buying gas.  Use a smaller 4 cyl.engine car to save you money from gas.

How come the movie houses open very late at 3pm  ? Dito sa California, they open around 10 AM everyday.

my dad's planning on changing my car's engine to a smaller one..
&& yun nga, carpool, di ako sure kung marami ako kasabay, pero sure ako na at least one person ang talagang kasabay ko..
kami ang maghahati sa gases and student parking fees for the whole year..

mall movie theaters opens @ at least 2 or 3PM here, homie...!
pero pag separate movie theater, they oen @ 10 AM..

I'm still waiting for their replies to the last letter i sent them..
I'll keep you guys posted..!

guess what................................................................
I GOT ACCEPTED IN THE UNIVERSITY OF MANITOBA!!!!

k, first of all, I was at school, chillin, no classes coz its a registration day..
after that, me & my friends went to the mall in Polo Park and in SIlver City to watch 10,000 BC which is a really good movie!!!!!

when i got home @ 5PM, parents said I got mail from that University that I applied to..
I was like excited about what they're going to say, yet worried at the same time that i might not get accepted..

before eating dinner, I checked the mail, I read it carefully, and the first sentence of the letter says that "congratulations, your application got accepted" (duh! lagi nmn yun 1st sentence eh)..
anyways, i was all happy and my family's all like, why? what does the letter say?
i'm all like, "I PASSED!!! I PASSED!!!"

this day is totally my day..
although, I could have knew it in the morning, not when my day's almost over..
but it's all worth it..!

salamat sa mga nag-congratz..!
ngaun, ako ang namo-mroblema kung pano ang magiging itsura ng timetable ko, since ako mamimili, kaya nga ako na pinauuna ng mga friends ko na gumawa ng timetable dahil ako ang unang natanggap sa amin..
gagayahin na lng daw nila yung timetable ko para pare-pareho kami ng spares..
