GPRS activation (GLOBE, SMART and SUN)

FOR GLOBE USERS

For a list of compatible MMS & GPRS handsets, send NOKIA, ERICSSON or SAMSUNG (depending on your handset model) to 2365.

Note: Regular text messaging charges will apply.

To get your phone's settings, text GO (handset model) to 2951. Example, GO N3650. (For a list of compatible handsets, do as instructed above)

Note: For Nokia 6220, 6600, and 6820, text GO (handset model),,1234 and send to 2951. Make sure to type in the two commas before the 1234 PIN.

Enter 1234 when asked for PIN to save settings.

Send an MMS message for only P5.00 to activate the service.

FOR SMART USERS

Setting up of MMS and GPRS handsets:
    To download 3G/MMS/GPRS settings, key in SET <phone model> to 211. to get supported brands, key in SET LIST and send to 211

Activating SMART MMS and GPRS:
    To activate SMART GPRS, key in GPRS ON and send to 3401.
    To activate SMART MMS, key in MMS ON and send to 3401.

FOR SUN CELLULAR USERS

Just key in ACTIVATE to 2300 or call CSR 200 for manual activation

You provided ma a great information. GPRS stands for general packet radio service and is packet oriented mobile data service.This service is available to both 2G and 3G cellular communication.But if one need to use this service then the service needs an activation.

This is a security measure by default. If you enter the wrong model a number of times the phone will ask you.

i really dont understand,i already activate my SUN GPRS and i already text my handset model but its not working,duh,..im a Sun subscriber i try and try until i get angry LOL..anybody help me pleasE????i already follow the rules but its wont work duh...i wanna have fB in my Samsung GT-C3303K duh..!help!!!!!!!!
